In Japan, a picture depicting a beautiful woman is called Bijin-ga. 
Artwork painted with traditional Japanese pigments.
The binder for traditional Japanese paintings is gelatin. However, alkyd resins that have been adjusted to have similar properties are used instead, to allow the paintings to withstand exhibition in different countries with different climates. 
The base material is Japanese paper (Washi).
The base support is a wooden panel.
The surface is matte, moist and calm. It is painted using traditional Japanese painting techniques.
If you look for a similar technique in Western painting, it's tempera.

〜美人画作品〜 「美人画」シリーズの 41cm正方形の肉筆画です。 程よい大きさで、良質の作品をご用意させていただきました。
 木製パネルに貼られた和紙に描いてあります。
背景には煌めく絵の具が使われており、見る角度で表情を変えます。 額縁を付けても飾ってもよし、額縁をに嵌めずそのままお飾ってもおかしくない様にも作っています。
額縁に嵌めると三割ほど高級に見えてきますので、飾る場所に合わせてご選択ください。
２万円以上の額縁を付けると、絵の価値とのバランスが程よく取れます。
